LWR KITS: We are putting together Baby Care Kits.  For these, we need:  HAND towels in dark colors, 4 oz Ivory soap bars, baby socks, and sleepers in 6 mo. to 24 mo. sizes.

Sewing skills are still needed!  School bags are cut out and instructions provided (on the wooden table topped with laundry baskets).  32 bags are complete and filled with supplies.  We hope to have many, many more done by the end of August.

PRAYERS:  We offer our prayers for the family of Lee Samuelson, who now joins his wife, Sharon, in the church triumphant.  Lee passed away at the memory care facility in the Mukwonago area on June 8, 2026.  Since their children are in that area, the funeral will be held there on June 13.  Sympathy cards can be sent to the house in Lake Tomahawk, 6229 Muskellunge Highland, 54539.  Their son, Jeff, will be there.

LIGHT THE FIRE:  Faith Lutheran Church in Three Lakes will be hosting Light the Fire for Fortune Lake this year on Sunday, May 31st, at 6:30 pm with a campfire and fun.  They are also looking for folks to help lead different parts, including:

1. Video: Record a short video of those present to send to Fortune Lake.
2. Song leader: Dillon Ford, Fortune Lake staff, other?
3. Opening prayer: Prayer is provided.
4. Skit cast of 6: There are no long lines. Two medium sized parts and 4 smaller ones.
5. Impact story: How has God worked in your life through Fortune Lake? What do you like about Fortune Lake? 5 minutes or less please.
6. Invitation to give: Words of invitation are provided.

REMINDER:  Campground Worship services will be starting Memorial Weekend, which is not the last weekend in May, but the 4th weekend due to the end of the month, May 31st, falling on a Sunday this year!  This means the first Campground services will be Sunday, May 24th …   spread the word!

FREDERICK PLACE MEAL:  Thank you to all who have provided the food for the Frederick Place meals.  We have taken on providing one supper each month.  We received a gushing thank you note from the residents for the meals we have taken to them; they even requested a recipe! That Thank You note has been posted on the kiosk.  Keep up the great support in feeding the homeless.

WELCA:  This week, Calvary WELCA has a special offering (In a CWELCA envelope) to support the various projects and programs that are done locally and beyond which our group works through.

SYNOD ASSEMBLY:  Will meet Saturday at Immanuel Church in Rhinelander for our conference.  Kathy Hoffmann and Penny Ravey are representing our congregation at the assembly.
