FREDERICK PLACE MEAL:  Calvary will be preparing the January 24, 2026 meal.  The menu will be a “tailgate” party celebrating the the football Playoffs and upcoming Super Bowl.  

SOUPER BOWL:  One month away!  We collect cans of soup for the Lakeland Pantry.  You can begin to bring in the cans or boxes or bags of soup at any time.  Put them in the shopping cart.

LENT:  The first Sunday of Lent is February 22, 2026.  Wednesday Lenten services and soup suppers will start opn Ash Wednesday, February 18, 2026.  During Lent, there will be no Saturday worship services.

SATURDAY WORSHIP SERVICES:  There will be no Saturday worship service on December 27th or January 3rd.

GIVING ENVELOPES:  If you use giving envelopes, they are now available in the entryway.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR’S EVE:  

  • Worship on Christmas Eve will be held at 7 p.m.
  • On New Year’s Eve, there will be a pot luck meal at 5 p.m., with worship at 6 p.m.

FREDERICK PLACE MEAL:  The next meal will be Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 5 p.m.  The menu will be ham, Au Gratin potatoes, baked beans (Susie’s recipe), with holiday cookies and ice cream.  Watch the kiosk for a sign-up sheet for foods/ingredients needed.

COMMUNITY TABLE: This will be Tuesday, December 9th.  See the sign-up sheet on the kiosk.

FIRST COMMUNION:  We welcome Braylon Willey as he receives his first communion today.  He joins us in the family of faith.  Braylon is Elaine Kuhlmann’s great-grandson.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR’S EVE:  

  • Worship on Christmas Eve will be held at 7 p.m., the same as in previous years.  
  • On New Year’s Eve, there will be a pot luck meal at 5 p.m. Bring a game to share so that some can play together as others clean up from the meal.  At 6 p.m., we will use the Holden Service of Evening Prayer to seek the Lord’s guidance and blessings as we look forward to another year.
