CONSTITUTION NOTICE:  At the September 20th Annual Meeting, the congregation will be asked to change C5.05 of our constitution to say that we have a Mission Endowment Fund. We will also vote to delete C9.03.01 which duplicates C9.04.01. A copy of the resolutions is posted on the kiosk. 

Annual Reports for the fiscal year 7/1/25 thru 6/30/26 are now available on the table in the entryway.  Please feel free to take one if you wish to review it prior to the meeting on 9/20/26.

PREPARE FOR THE CELEBRATION:  Mark your calendar for September 27, 2026, when we will celebrate with a special service for Calvary’s 75th anniversary.  Invite former members or neighbors to join in.  Plans are being made for an exciting morning, a pot luck meal featuring 1950s cuisine, lots of music, guests, and activities.

SCANDINAVIAN BAKE SALE:  October 10, 2026, 8:30 am to 1 pm.  Plan ahead to bake items, to order Lefse, and to invite your neighbors.  Lefse preparation will be on Sunday, September 13th, after worship.

CHECK MAILBOXES:  If you did not get your September Chimes and/or Home Touch documents, and any other information, out of your mailbox last week, please remember to check and take them home with you this week.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE:  There will be a Celebration of Life for Dave Schlichting on Saturday, September 12 with a funeral lunch to follow.  An email was sent to most of you ladies who sometime are able to provide dishes for such an event, but if you would like to do so and you did not receive the email, please see the sign-up sheet on the kiosk.
